Professional Holiday Light Installation Services in Haines City, FL

Displays for new streets and established homes.

Residential Christmas light installation in Central Florida with blue LED roofline and landscape lighting

Many of the newer streets in Haines City sit on former grove land that is flat and open. For a Christmas display, that is good news. The homes tend to have simple gables and clear sight lines, with very little in the way yet.

Other parts of town are very different. The blocks near Lake Eva and the older communities out toward Lake Marion often have low roof pitches, deep overhangs and mature oaks leaning over the driveway. It is a completely different job, and one design would not work on both.

We are a family-owned, licensed and insured company, and we have been lighting Central Florida homes since 2023. We bring the lights, look after them all season, and take them away in January.

Grove land, new streets, fresh rooflines

Most of the recent building here has gone up on cleared, level ground, which means straightforward roof shapes and a clean view from the end of the street. That is close to ideal. A properly lit gable line on a house like that reads from several lots away without any extra lights.

It also means your house may look a lot like your neighbor’s. If you want yours to stand out, the answer is rarely more lights. It is usually one different choice, such as warm white on a street of cool white, lighting the peaks instead of only the eave, or wrapping a pair of palms at the drive.

Young landscaping helps too. On a lot planted only a few years ago, there is no canopy covering the front of the house, so the roofline does most of the work. That can save you money on ground accents that a mature yard would need and yours may not.

What lighting costs in Haines City

Christmas lighting starts at $799. Most homes land between $1,500 and $3,000 for the full season. Larger or multi-story properties run $2,500 to $5,000, and full estate-scale displays go above that. Every quote is custom to the property, because the number is driven by roofline length, number of stories, peaks and dormers, and whatever trees, wreaths, garland or ground-level accents you want added.

How we quote without a visit to your home

We quote remotely. Send photos of the house, a rough idea of what you want lit, and any measurements you happen to have, and we build the design from those plus satellite imagery. You get your quote quickly. That saves you from waiting through an appointment window on a weekday, and it keeps our costs down, which helps keep your price down too.

When you approve the quote, we schedule the install. Our own crew arrives with the lights, the clips, the timers and the hardware. There is nothing for you to buy and nothing for you to go and collect.

Older golf course homes need a different plan

Out toward Grenelefe, many homes are older and the lots have grown in, with low roof pitches, wide overhangs, and mature oaks and pines leaning across the front. Those houses need a different approach than a new two-story. Usually the roofline does less of the work and the landscape does more, with lit trunks, wrapped trees, a bright entry and garland on the columns. The result is softer, and on the right house it looks better.

Streets and communities we cover

We work across Haines City, including Southern Dunes, Calabay Parc, Balmoral Resort, Hammock Reserve, Bradbury Creek, Randa Ridge, Highland Meadows, Estates at Lake Hammock, Patterson Groves, the downtown blocks near Lake Eva, and out toward Grenelefe and Lake Marion. If your community publishes decorating guidelines, send them along and we will work inside them.

Everything included in your install

  • Commercial-grade LED lights, cut to fit your roofline
  • Timers, clips and all hardware supplied by us
  • Install by our local crew, licensed and insured
  • Maintenance all season at no charge: a dark section or weather damage, we come and fix it
  • Removal after New Year’s, with the lights stored in our warehouse until next year

You are paying for a finished display, and you never buy a box of lights.

When to lock in your date

Book in early fall if you care which week you get. We start installing around the beginning of November, and the two weeks before Christmas are always the first to go. Many families want their lights on by Thanksgiving weekend, when relatives are in town, so those dates go first. Requesting a quote takes a few minutes and gets you on our list.

Year-round lighting, if one season is not enough

We also install permanent outdoor lighting. It is a low-profile track mounted under the eave, with color you control from your phone, so the same system gives you holiday colors in December, other colors for other holidays, and simple architectural light the rest of the year. Nothing goes up or comes down each season. If you are tired of the yearly setup, ask for a free permanent lighting quote when you request your Christmas quote.

Frequently Asked Questions About Christmas Light Installation in Haines City, FL

Usually by changing one thing rather than adding a lot more lights. On a new Haines City street where the builder used the same elevation five times, the display that gets noticed is usually the one that picks out every peak instead of running a single flat eave line, or that commits to warm white while the block runs cool. Wrapped palms or trees at the drive do the rest. We will suggest the least expensive change that makes the biggest difference.

Yes, but we would usually shift the balance. On the older, grown-in lots out that way the canopy hides a lot of roof from the road, so we tend to put less on the eave and more into the trees and the entry: wrapped trunks, limbs picked out, a lit front door and garland on the columns. You get a display that reads from the street instead of one that disappears behind an oak.

Yes. Those blocks are part of our regular service area. Older houses there tend to have lower pitches and deeper porches than the new subdivisions, so the porch roof, the window frames and the entry usually carry the display rather than a single high eave line. Send photos of the front and we will design to what the house actually has.

Yes, and on a lot that still has mature grove trees they are often the best thing to light. Old citrus and oak both take a ground-lit or wrapped treatment well, and the result is warmer and less builder-standard than a roofline alone. Point out which trees matter when you send photos. We price tree work separately from the roofline so you can see what each piece adds.

We measure the job from your photos, any measurements you provide, and satellite imagery, then price the design. Lighting starts at $799, and most homes land between $1,500 and $3,000 for the full season. Larger or multi-story homes fall between $2,500 and $5,000. Roofline length, stories, peaks and any tree or garland work are what move the number.

No, it is not. Repairs happen on the outside of the house, so a dark section or a run loosened by wind gets fixed whether you are at work, out of town, or away for the holidays. Free maintenance for the whole season is part of every install, so there is no call-out charge and no bulbs for you to chase down. Message us and we will schedule the repair.

Usually not, but it is closer than we would like. Installs begin around the start of November, and Thanksgiving week dates go first. If you ask in early fall, you can pick your date. If you ask in late October, you choose from what is left. Quotes come back fast either way.
