Professional Holiday Light Installation Services in Sanford, FL
Careful installs for older homes and woodwork.

Sanford’s historic neighborhoods have brick streets, old oaks and some of the most detailed homes in Seminole County. You will find Craftsman bungalows, Queen Anne gables, deep Colonial Revival porches and the occasional turret. These houses look wonderful lit, and they need careful work.
Many of these homes still have original fascia, older soffits and wood trim with many coats of paint. We size clips to each edge instead of driving fasteners into anything, and we route strands so nothing carries weight it was not built to hold. On a hundred-year-old porch, that care is most of the job.
Hanging your own lights on a house like this takes a full weekend and a tall ladder. We are a family-owned company and have been lighting Central Florida homes since 2023. We hang your lights, keep them lit all season, and take them down in January.
Old houses need a gentler hand
Many residential streets near downtown are lined with homes built from the late 1800s through the 1920s, and their owners take good care of them. That changes how we work.
We choose every attachment point before anything goes up. We use clips sized to the gutter, the shingle edge or the tile lip, and we never put a screw or nail into fascia or trim. Where a board looks tired, we route around it and pick the line back up further along. If an edge won’t safely carry a run, we tell you and we design without it rather than risking your woodwork for a few feet of light.
The result is worth the extra care. These rooflines have steep pitches and plenty of detail, and they catch light in a way a flat modern elevation does not.
Porches, gables and the odd turret
These homes give us more to work with than most. Many have steep gables stacked over one another, bracketed eaves, bay windows, and wraparound porches with turned columns and rails that suit garland well.
So the design usually runs on two levels. Up top, the gables and the main roofline get a clean warm line that traces the shape of the house. Down low, the porch does the human-scale work: wrapped columns, garland on the rail, a lit wreath on the door. On a Queen Anne with a corner tower we’ll often take light up the tower as the anchor and let everything else answer to it.

The historic district, and everything out past it
Sanford is really two lighting jobs in one city. In the Historic District and around Loch Arbor and Mayfair, the work is detail-led and delicate, and the houses are close enough to the street that small things show. Out in Celery Key, Celery Estates and Sanford Farms the homes are newer, taller and simpler to line, so a long clean run does most of the work.
Lake Forest, the Preserve at Lake Monroe and the Markham Woods corridor toward Heathrow bring bigger elevations, more peaks and more mature landscaping, which is where tree wraps and ground accents start to earn their place. Homes in Riverview and along the water near Lake Monroe and the St. Johns River often want a rear elevation lit as well as the front.
What we bring and what we take away
We bring everything, and we take everything back. We supply commercial-grade LED lights, timers, clips and hardware, and we install the whole display. You buy nothing and you store nothing.
Through the season, if a section goes dark or weather damages part of the display, we come out and fix it at no charge. After New Year’s we remove everything, down to the last clip, and the lights go back to our warehouse until next season. For an older home with limited storage, that last part tends to matter more than people expect.
Where the money goes on an older home
Christmas lighting starts at 9, and most homes land between About,500 and and another,000 for the full season. Larger or multi-story properties run $2,500 to $5,000, and full estate-scale displays go above that. Every quote is built for the specific property. Roofline length, number of stories, peaks and dormers, and any trees, wreaths, garland or ground-level accents all move the number. Older homes with a lot of gables often price higher than their square footage suggests, simply because there’s more edge to follow.
Scheduling your install, plus the year-round option
We quote remotely, and it is quick. Send your address and a few photos, and we measure from those and satellite imagery, then send your design and price. If you book in the fall, you can choose your install week, because the best dates go early.
We also install permanent outdoor lighting. It mounts under the eave, is hard to see in daylight, and gives you warm white all year and full color at Christmas. It is not right for every historic home, and we will tell you if it is not right for yours. On newer homes outside downtown it is a strong option, and we can send a free quote for it with your Christmas quote.

Frequently Asked Questions About Christmas Light Installation in Sanford, FL
No. Nothing gets screwed or nailed into fascia, soffit or trim. We use clips sized to the gutter, shingle or tile edge so the strands carry their own weight, and where a board looks fragile we route around it entirely. If an edge isn’t safe to use, we design without it and tell you why before install day.
Yes, and they are often the strongest part of the display. Turned columns wrap well, porch rails take garland, and a tower or turret makes a natural anchor that the rest of the design can answer to. Send close-up photos of the porch detail along with your front elevation shots so we can price the columns and rails properly.
Yes, there is a big difference. Older homes near downtown have more gables, brackets and porch detail, so there’s more edge to follow and more hand work, which often prices higher than the square footage implies. Newer homes out east tend to have longer, simpler roof runs that cover a lot of house quickly. Both are quoted from photos the same way.
Yes. Rear elevations facing the water are quoted like any other elevation, on roofline length, stories and detail. Send photos of the back of the house along with your street-side ones and we’ll price the two sides separately so you can choose. Some owners light only the front, and some light only the water side.
We do, and that is how we want it. Commercial-grade LEDs, timers, clips and hardware are all supplied by us, kept working by us all season at no extra charge, taken down by us after New Year’s and stored in our warehouse until next year. You never buy a strand, untangle one, or find somewhere in the house to keep a box.
Displays begin at $799. Most homes land between $1,500 and $3,000 for the full season. Larger or multi-story homes run $2,500 to $5,000 and estate-scale displays go above that. Roofline length, number of stories, peaks and dormers, and any tree or ground work set where you land.
Reach out in the fall. Quotes come back quickly, so the limit is not the estimate but the install schedule. Early bookings get first choice of weeks and the dates near Thanksgiving fill first. We install throughout December as well, but at that stage you’re choosing from what’s still open rather than picking your night.
