Professional Holiday Light Installation Services in Lake Mary, FL

Lighting for estate lots and golf course homes.

Residential Christmas light installation on an Orlando home

Many Lake Mary homes sit behind trees, gates and curving driveways, so from the road you only see parts of them. That is why a well planned display matters here. When it is done right, the roofline reads clearly from the street. When it is not, the lights disappear behind the first row of oaks.

Each neighborhood needs its own plan. Many homes in Heathrow and Timacuan have long, low elevations with the garage forward, while Alaqua and Alaqua Lakes have more peaks and second stories. Magnolia Plantation and Carisbrooke sit somewhere in between, so we design every home on its own.

At Light The Peak, we are a family-owned lighting company. We hang your Christmas lights, keep them lit all season, and take them down in January.

We handle the tall rooflines so you do not have to

Hanging your own Christmas lights in Lake Mary often takes two full weekends, because many houses are tall and the rooflines are long. It usually means an extension ladder, a slick roof edge and a box of tangled strands. December is busy enough without that.

We do the work for you. We are a local family company, licensed and insured, and we have worked with Central Florida homeowners, communities and businesses since 2023. You get a display you are proud of, and you keep your weekends.

What a Markham Woods estate lot asks of a display

Along the Markham Woods corridor, many homes sit on deep lots with old oaks, set a long way back from the road. If we lit only the front gable, the street would barely see it. So we run the full roofline first, then push the display outward: the entry, the columns, the oaks and palms along the drive, sometimes the gate posts. The house reads as one lit shape instead of a bright rectangle floating in trees.

Alaqua and Alaqua Lakes ask for the same thinking with more second story to cover, more peaks to follow, and more ground level accent than a typical suburban street needs.

Heathrow, Timacuan and the gated golf streets

Heathrow, Reserve at Heathrow and Timacuan call for a different approach. The elevations are wide and low, the garage runs are long, and the houses are close enough that neighbors see every display side by side. On those streets, clean lines matter more than volume. We keep eave runs crisp, use one color temperature the whole way across, and make sure nothing sags between clips.

Magnolia Plantation, Carisbrooke, Steeple Chase, Chase Groves and Huntington Pointe sit in the middle. These homes have solid rooflines, fit moderate budgets, and usually have a tree or two out front worth wrapping. We quote Crystal Lake, Cardinal Oaks and the Lake Emma area case by case, because the lots there vary quite a bit.

Everything on your roof comes from us

You do not need to buy anything. We supply the commercial grade LED lights, the timers, the clips and all the hardware, and it stays ours.

  • If a section goes dark mid season, we come back and fix it free.
  • If weather knocks part of the display loose, same answer. That is what season long maintenance means.
  • After New Year’s we take all of it down and store the lights in our warehouse until next year.

Nothing ends up in your garage or attic, and you never store a bin of lights.

What Lake Mary displays cost

Christmas lighting starts at $799. Most homes land between $1,500 and $3,000 for the full season. Larger and multi story properties run $2,500 to $5,000, and full estate scale displays go above that. Every quote is custom to the property, driven by roofline length, number of stories, peaks and dormers, and any trees, wreaths, garland or ground level accents.

How we build your quote without a home visit

We quote remotely. Send a few photos, your address, and a short note about what you would like lit. We measure off your photos and satellite imagery, lay out the design, and get a number back to you fast.

On a gated street, that saves everyone time. There is no guard house call for a visit, and you do not need to be home waiting for us. If something about the property is hard to read from above, we will ask you for one more photo rather than guess at it.

Booking a big display before dates fill up

Bigger displays take longer to install, so they fill the front of the schedule. If you want a particular week, earlier is better. Reach out in late summer or early fall and you choose your install date. If you wait until December, you will choose from whatever dates are left.

If a certain weekend matters to you, such as a family gathering, tell us when you ask for your quote.

Year-round lighting for a house that already hosts

Some homeowners would rather stop the yearly cycle altogether. Permanent outdoor lighting is installed once, sits under the eave where it is hard to see in daylight, and runs from your phone. You can set warm white for everyday evenings, red and green in December, and any color you like the rest of the year.

If that interests you, let us know when you ask for your Christmas quote. We send a free written quote for permanent lighting, and if you want to see the lights and the app on your own home first, we offer a free in-home demo.

Frequently Asked Questions About Christmas Light Installation in Lake Mary, FL

Yes, but the design has to change. On a deep lot we treat the roofline as the anchor and then build outward so the eye has something to follow in from the road: the entry, the columns, wrapped oaks or palms along the drive, ground level accent where it makes sense. On a deep setback lot, we would not recommend lighting the roofline alone.

You let your gate know we are coming and give them our company name and the date, same as any other contractor. Because we quote from photos and satellite imagery rather than a site visit, install day is usually the only time we need through the gate. Our crews are local, licensed and insured, and we can send you whatever documentation your community asks for in advance.

Probably, though it depends on how much of the roofline you want covered. Larger and multi story properties do run $2,500 to $5,000, and full estate scale displays go above that. Peaks and dormers matter more than square footage, because each one is a direction change and a separate run. Send photos of the front and both side elevations and we will price it exactly.

Yes, and on Lake Mary lots it is often the better half of the display. Trunk wraps on oaks, palm wraps, and accent along the drive give the house depth and make it read from a distance, which matters when the house is set back. We will include tree and ground work as separate lines on your quote so you can see what each piece adds.

Everything you need. We supply commercial grade LED lights, timers, clips and hardware, and our crew installs them. Season long maintenance is included, so if a section goes dark or weather damages the display we fix it free. After New Year’s we do complete removal and store the lights in our warehouse until next season. The lights are ours, so you are not buying, storing or replacing anything.

Most people who want a specific install week book in late summer or early fall. The larger displays in Heathrow, Alaqua and along Markham Woods take more crew time and fill the schedule first, so the earlier your quote is approved, the more choice you have. We do take December calls when we can, but by then the schedule is mostly set and dates are limited.

We come back, take everything down, and haul it away. The lights, timers, clips and hardware all belong to us and they go back to our warehouse for storage until next season. Nothing gets left on your roof, and nothing goes into your garage. When you book again the following year, your display comes back out and goes back up.
