Professional Holiday Light Installation Services in Orlando, FL

We design for each neighborhood's homes.

Professional Christmas light installation Orlando home with wrapped palm trees

Homes in Orlando vary a lot from one neighborhood to the next. An older bungalow in College Park has little in common with a two-story home in Lake Nona, and a display that looks right on a Delaney Park cottage would look wrong on a Hunter’s Creek elevation. Our Christmas light installation in Orlando starts with the home you actually have.

That is why this page walks through Orlando one neighborhood at a time. In some, the roofline is short and the porch is the focus. In others, the garage takes up half the front, or the trees are old enough to hide part of the roof.

We are Light The Peak, a family-owned, licensed and insured company lighting Central Florida homes, communities and businesses since 2023. We supply the commercial-grade LED lights, clips, timers and hardware, install everything, keep it lit through the season, then take it down after New Year’s and store the lights in our warehouse.

Orlando has many kinds of rooflines

The housing in Orlando changes quickly from one area to the next. There are brick streets and older bungalows near downtown, mid-century ranch homes on the east side, newer neighborhoods with alley garages, and master-planned communities to the south with two-story stucco fronts and tile roofs. Each one needs a different display, so we design for the house you own rather than selling you a one-size package.

College Park and Audubon Park bungalow streets

These homes have short, low rooflines with a lot of character, including deep front porches, gable ends, dormers and mature trees that can block part of the view. A simple design works best here. A clean roofline, the porch edge and one accent usually look better than a bigger display, because the house sits close to the sidewalk and people see it up close.

Many of these single-story homes also fall in a lower price range. Older fascia and gutters still need careful work, but your budget usually goes further here than on a larger two-story home.

Thornton Park, Delaney Park and the blocks around Lake Eola

These neighborhoods have tight lots and mature oaks, and people see the displays from the sidewalk more than from a car. That makes the details important, including even spacing, a straight line along the fascia and a wreath centered on the door. Garland on porch columns and railings looks especially good on these houses.

Parking and access can be tight on the older blocks. Tell us anything we should know about your street when you book, and we will plan the install around it.

Baldwin Park porches and alley garages

Many Baldwin Park homes have a front porch facing the street and the garage around back, and that changes our approach. With real architecture facing the street, the display should follow it, including the roofline, porch roof, columns, railings and the second-story line where there is one. With the garage off the alley, there is no large blank door to design around.

Because these homes sit close together, a neat, consistent line across the front matters more than the number of lights, and that is where we put our attention.

Lake Nona, Hunter’s Creek and the newer two-story builds

Displays tend to be larger in south Orlando. Many homes have two stories, multiple peaks and dormers, tile or architectural shingle roofs, and a front wide enough that a small display gets lost. On these houses, outlining the peaks makes the biggest difference, and wrapped palms or a lit entry give the front a focal point below the roofline.

Newer neighborhoods often decorate around the same time, which is another good reason to book early.

Conway, Metro West and the neighborhoods in between

Conway has lake lots and long-established ranch homes, which usually means a wide, low front and room in the yard for accents. Metro West runs from golf-course homes to condo and townhome fronts, where we are often lighting an entry or a shared elevation rather than a whole roofline. We also work in Dr. Phillips and on the west side, so if you live near the edge of the city limits, just ask.

What comes with your install

You have nothing to buy and nothing to store.

  • Commercial-grade LED lights, measured and cut to your house
  • Clips, timers and hardware, so nothing is stapled or nailed
  • Local crews, licensed and insured
  • Free repairs all season if a section goes dark or weather does damage
  • Full takedown after New Year’s, with the lights stored in our warehouse until next year

What Christmas lights cost in Orlando

Christmas lighting starts at $799. Most homes land between $1,500 and $3,000 for the full season. Larger or multi-story properties run $2,500 to $5,000, and estate-scale displays go above that. Every quote is built for your property, based on roofline length, number of stories, peaks and dormers, and any trees, wreaths, garland or ground-level accents you add.

Booking your install

Send us your address, a few photos of the front of your house and a sentence about what you want lit. We build the quote remotely from your photos and satellite imagery, with no appointment needed, and send it back fast. Once you approve it and choose your date, we take care of everything until the evening your lights come on. If you would rather talk it through, call us at (863) 400-0995.

Frequently Asked Questions About Christmas Light Installation in Orlando, FL

The whole city and the metro around it, from College Park and Audubon Park through downtown, Baldwin Park, Conway and Metro West, and south to Lake Nona and Hunter’s Creek. We are a Central Florida company, and Orlando is a big part of our service area. If you are not sure your street is in range, send your address and we will tell you straight away.

There is no minimum size, only a minimum price. Christmas lighting starts at $799, and plenty of single-story homes in the older Orlando neighborhoods land right around there. Short rooflines are a good value, because the display is close to the street and reads clearly. We would rather do a small house well than talk you into more than it needs.

Usually, yes. In neighborhoods where everyone goes up the same weekend, a lot of people want the same bulb color and roughly the same line so the block looks like one street. Send a photo of a neighbor’s house you like along with photos of yours. We will tell you what it takes to match it and what that costs.

We do. Businesses and community entrances are a normal part of our season alongside homes. The same commercial-grade lights, the same free in-season repairs and the same January takedown apply. For a storefront, send photos of the full frontage including any awnings or columns, and let us know whether you want interior window lines included.

No. We install only our own commercial-grade LED lights because that is what lets us guarantee the display all season and fix anything that fails at no charge. The lights, clips and timers stay ours, we take them down in January and we store them. You get the result without owning or storing anything.

Your price includes the lights, clips, timers, hardware and installation, repairs for the entire season, removal after New Year’s and warehouse storage until next year. There is no separate takedown fee and no storage fee. The number on your quote is the number for the season, and it is built from your specific roofline rather than a package list.

You can book later than you might think, but you will have fewer dates to choose from. November is the busiest stretch of our year and the week before Thanksgiving goes first. If it is already December, still ask. Quotes are built remotely and turn around fast, so we can usually tell you within a day or two whether we can fit your house in.
