Professional Holiday Light Installation Services in Lakeland, FL
We design for your home and your neighborhood.

Lakeland has several very different styles of home within a short drive. There are older bungalows on the brick streets near Lake Morton, ranch houses under mature shade trees in Cleveland Heights, and two-story new builds along the Polk Parkway side. A display that suits one can look wrong on another, so our Christmas light installation in Lakeland starts with your roof, your frontage and what people see from the street.
We are Light The Peak, a family-owned, licensed and insured company lighting Central Florida homes, communities and businesses since 2023. We handle everything. We bring commercial-grade LED lights, timers, clips and hardware, install the display, look after it all season, and take it down and store it in our warehouse after New Year’s. You get your December back.
Designing for Lakeland’s home styles
Dixieland and the Lake Morton district have many older bungalows with deep front porches, low eaves and a lot of trim detail. Those homes look best with a clean warm white line that follows the existing architecture rather than competing with it. The porch columns and the front gable usually carry more weight than the roof does.
Cleveland Heights is older and shadier, with mature trees that filter the light and yards that suit ground-level lighting. South Lakeland, Christina, Grasslands and Eaglebrooke are different, with taller elevations, entry peaks and long, clean eave runs that are easy to see from the street. Those houses can carry a much larger display without looking cluttered. A bungalow design looks thin on one of them, and a large design looks crowded on a bungalow.
Lakeland neighborhoods we serve
We install across the city and the surrounding areas, including these neighborhoods.
- Lake Hollingsworth and Cleveland Heights. Older homes, established landscaping, plenty of tree wrap and pathway requests alongside the roofline.
- Dixieland and the Lake Morton district. Historic bungalows, where a simpler design usually looks better than a bigger one.
- South Lakeland, Christina and Lakeland Highlands. Newer construction, wide frontages, full roofline runs and lit entries.
- Grasslands and Eaglebrooke. Larger properties, often multi-story, where a long driveway is a good place for ground-level lighting.
- Highland City and the Polk Parkway corridor. Easy for our crews to reach, which helps during the busiest weeks of the season.

Warm white or multicolor bulbs
Most homeowners choose one of two looks. Warm white C9 bulbs along the roofline look clean and classic and suit nearly any house in town. Multicolor is the choice for families who want a bright, playful display the kids will love. Both are good options. We will tell you which one we think suits your house best, and then we will build the one you want.
Past the roofline, the common additions here are a wreath on the front gable, garland on porch rails and entry columns, wrapped tree trunks, and lit shrubs or a pathway run. On a small historic house, one well placed wreath usually does more than another thirty feet of roof.
A fast quote from your photos
We quote Christmas lighting remotely. You send your address and a few photos of the front of the house and tell us roughly what you have in mind. We take measurements from satellite imagery, count the peaks and dormers, work out the run lengths, and send your price with a plain description of exactly what we will light. Turnaround is fast, and there is no appointment to keep.
Once you approve it, we schedule the install and arrive with everything we need. Nothing comes out of your garage, and nothing goes back into it afterward. If a section goes dark later in the season or weather knocks part of the display loose, we come back and fix it free. That is included in your price, so there is never a service call fee.
What Lakeland homeowners spend
Christmas lighting starts at $799. Most homes land between $1,500 and $3,000 for the full season. Larger or multi-story properties run $2,500 to $5,000, and estate-scale displays go above that. Every quote is built for your property, and the number comes down to roofline length, number of stories, peaks and dormers, and any trees, wreaths, garland or ground level accents you add.
Why early booking matters
Installs run from late October into early December, and the early dates go first every year. If you want the lights on for something specific, such as a party or family coming into town, tell us the date when you book and we will schedule around it. Booking early costs nothing, and it is the easiest way to get the week you want.
At the other end, we come back after New Year’s and take the whole display down. The lights go into our warehouse until next season, already sized to your house, so booking again next year is simple.
Permanent lighting for Lakeland homes
If you hire out Christmas lights every year, permanent lighting is worth a look. It is a low-profile track of individually controlled LEDs mounted under the eave and color matched to your trim, so it is hard to see from the street in daylight, and you control it from your phone. You can run warm white on ordinary evenings, red and green through December and team colors for a big game. The newer South Lakeland, Christina and Eaglebrooke homes tend to be good candidates because the eave lines are long and uninterrupted. Ask when we quote your Christmas lights, and we will send a free permanent lighting quote too so you can compare.

Frequently Asked Questions About Christmas Light Installation in Lakeland, FL
Usually not, and often they help. Big canopies do block sightlines from the street, so we design around what the tree actually hides instead of lighting roofline you will never see. In a lot of older Lakeland yards the better answer is less roof and more tree: wrapped trunks and lit lower branches give you depth that a straight roof line cannot. Send photos taken from the sidewalk and we will tell you what will show from the street and what will not.
It changes the design more than the hardware. Older Lakeland homes have shallow eaves, deep porches and detailed trim, so we clip to what is there rather than forcing a long straight run, and we usually put more emphasis on the porch and front gable than on roof footage. We use clips and hardware sized to the gutter or shingle edge, nothing that needs drilling into old fascia.
We cover both, plus the Polk Parkway corridor and the surrounding Polk County areas. Christina, Lakeland Highlands, Eaglebrooke, Grasslands and Highland City are all inside our normal service area. Where you sit does not change the price. The quote is based on the property itself, including roofline length, stories, peaks and dormers, and any trees, wreaths or ground accents you want added.
We outline the shapes that define the house rather than every edge. On a multi-story home with several gables, lighting every available line can flatten the house into one bright block. Picking the peaks that define the elevation and letting the rest stay dark gives you something with depth that still reads from the road. More stories and more peaks do raise the price, so we will show you a couple of versions at different scopes.
Everything you need is included. We supply commercial grade LED lights, timers, clips and all the hardware, we install it, and we maintain it for the whole season. If something goes dark or weather damages part of the display, we come out and repair it at no extra charge. After New Year’s we return, remove the entire display, and store your lights in our warehouse until next year. You never buy, fix or store a strand.
Most homes land between $1,500 and $3,000 for the full season. Larger or multi-story properties run $2,500 to $5,000, and estate-scale displays go above that. Every quote is built for your property and depends on roofline length, number of stories, peaks and dormers, and any added trees, wreaths, garland or ground level accents.
As early as you can, ideally before Halloween. Installs run from late October through early December and the earliest dates fill first, especially weekends. Booking early does not cost more and it is the only reliable way to get the week you want. If you need the display live by a particular evening, give us that date up front and we will schedule backward from it rather than fitting you in wherever there is room.
