Permanent Outdoor Lighting in Oviedo, FL

From Alafaya Woods to Live Oak Reserve, we light your roofline once and it comes on by itself every night.

★★★★★ 5.0 on Google  •  Licensed & Insured  •  Family-owned, Central Florida

We install permanent lighting in Oviedo for homeowners who are tired of hanging lights every November and taking them down every January. Oviedo sits between the Econlockhatchee River and Lake Jesup, and once the sun goes down under the oaks, most houses here simply disappear. A permanent roofline keeps yours visible every night of the year.

The system is a slim track that we mount under your eave one time. From then on, you control it from your phone. You can run soft white on a weeknight, black and gold on a college game day, and red and green all through December, and nobody in your house has to climb a ladder for any of it.

At Light The Peak, we are a family-owned lighting company, licensed and insured, and we have served Central Florida since 2023. We design the system with you, install it, and show you how it works before we leave.

Oviedo Rooflines, From Alafaya Woods to Live Oak Reserve

Oviedo has a real mix of houses. You will find single-story homes with one long, simple eave on the same street as two-story homes with gables stacked over the garage and the entry. Permanent lighting works well on both, but we plan them differently, and that planning is most of what we think about before we design your home.

On a single-story home, the track usually runs in one continuous line along the front eave and wraps the corners, which looks calm and clean from the street. On a two-story home with stacked gables, we follow each peak so the shape of the house shows at night. That takes more track, more corners and more work on the second story, which is why two houses on the same street in Kingsbridge or Carillon can be priced differently.

What It Looks Like at Noon

The first thing most people ask us is how permanent lighting looks during the day. That is a fair question, especially under oaks where the front of the house is already partly in shade. The track is low-profile and color-matched to your fascia or soffit, so from the sidewalk it looks like part of the trim. There are no clips, no cords across the shingles and no bulbs pointed at the street.

Your neighbors in Stillwater or Remington Park will not notice anything new until the sun goes down. Then the roofline turns on by itself, and a warm white setting outlines the house under the trees without making it look like a holiday display in April.

It also ends the cleanup that follows the holidays. You will not have faded strands hanging on into March or clips popping out of the gutter after a summer storm. The system stays in place, looks like trim all day, and comes on in the evening.

Black and Gold on Saturdays, Warm White on Tuesdays

UCF is right next door, and plenty of Oviedo families already know what their fall Saturdays look like. With permanent lighting, your roofline can join in. You can set black and gold for game day, red, white and blue for the Fourth, orange for Halloween, pink for a birthday, and plain warm white for every ordinary night in between.

We install the Minleon system. It offers 16 million colors, and because every LED along the track is controlled on its own, your roof can hold one steady color or run a slow chase across the peaks. You choose from a phone app, or you build a schedule once and let it run. Most families keep warm white on a timer and save the colors for special nights.

How Permanent Lighting in Oviedo Gets Designed and Installed

It starts with a free quote. You request one through the form or by phone at (863) 400-0995 and tell us which parts of the roofline you want covered, from the front eave to the gables over the garage. A photo of the front helps but is optional. We look at your roofline, lay out the runs and send a written quote with your exact price. Prefer to see the lights and the app on your own house first? We will come out for a free in-home demo, measure and walk you through the quote in person.

If you approve the quote, a 50% deposit schedules your install. Most homes are installed in one day. Before our crew leaves, we set up the app on your phone, build your first schedule with you and turn it on together. The balance is due when your home is lit.

If your neighborhood has an HOA or architectural review, permanent lighting usually counts as an exterior change, so you will want to apply before we install. We give you our spec sheet and daytime photos to include with your application, and the board makes the decision.

Where the Price Lands for an Oviedo Home

Permanent lighting starts at $2,500 installed, and most homes land between $3,000 and $6,000. Price is based mainly on how much roofline we light, along with the height of the house, the number of peaks and angles, and the coverage you choose. A single-story home in Aloma Woods and a two-story home in Live Oak Reserve will land in different places, and you get your exact number in your free quote before you commit to anything.

Every system we install comes with a 5-year warranty on the product and a 1-year workmanship warranty. Both come from us, and we handle any issue ourselves.

Adding December Extras Around the Yard

A lot of Oviedo yards have a big oak by the driveway or a row of palms along the walk that looks great wrapped for the holidays. Your permanent roofline does not replace that. It works alongside it. We still install seasonal Christmas lighting, so you can run red and green on the roof from your phone while we wrap your trees, shrubs and entry for the season, then take the wraps down after New Year’s.

Out toward Black Hammock, where properties are more rural and homes often sit farther back from the road, that combination can be seen from a long way off. On a smaller lot closer to Oviedo on the Park, the roofline alone usually does the job.

Not ready to go permanent?

We will hang this year’s Christmas lights instead: our lights, installed, kept lit all season and taken down in January.

Permanent Lighting in Oviedo: Your Questions

No, not in a way that stands out. The track is color-matched to your fascia or soffit and sits tight under the eave, so in the shade of an oak it looks like part of the trim. At night the shade actually helps, because a lit roofline shows up more clearly against a dark canopy than against an open sky.

Yes. You can save black and gold as a scene in the app and turn it on from your phone on game day. You can also put it on a schedule for every home game so it comes on at dusk without you doing anything. The next night, it goes right back to warm white.

Yes. We can light the rear roofline as part of the same system as the front, and it all runs from the same app. Because it adds roofline, it does change the price. Your free quote prices the back separately, so you can decide before you commit, and if you’d like, we can walk both sides with you at a free in-home demo.

Yes, we do. A home in Black Hammock gets a free quote the same way as one in Alafaya Woods, and if you want a free in-home demo, we come out to the end of a long rural drive too. A longer roofline or a detached garage simply shows up in the design and the price.

Price is based mainly on how much roofline you want lit, along with the height of the house, the peaks and angles, and the coverage you choose. Permanent lighting starts at $2,500 installed, and most homes land between $3,000 and $6,000. We lay out the runs for your roofline, so your free quote comes with your exact number.

It will. You can set the roofline to red and green or run a slow pattern across the peaks, right from your phone. If you want wrapped oaks, palms and a lit entry as well, we can add seasonal Christmas lighting for the holidays and take it down after New Year’s.

Never hang a light again.

Your Oviedo roofline comes on at dusk every night under the oaks, and nobody in your home has to climb a ladder for it again.
