Terms of Service for Light The Peak – Holiday & Outdoor Lighting
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the services offered by Light The Peak – Holiday & Outdoor Lighting (“Light The Peak,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), including our website at LightThePeak.com, SMS communications, and related services (collectively referred to as the “Services”).
By accessing or using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
1. Use of Services
You must be at least 18 years old to request or use our Services.
You agree to provide accurate and complete information when requesting a quote, booking a service, or subscribing to SMS/email updates.
You may not use our Services for any unlawful or prohibited purpose.
2. SMS/Text Messaging (A2P 10DLC Compliance)
By providing your mobile number, you consent to receive SMS/MMS messages from Light The Peak regarding quotes, scheduling, updates, and promotions.
Message frequency may vary.
Message and data rates may apply.
To stop receiving messages, reply STOP at any time. Reply HELP for help.
We are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages, as delivery depends on your carrier.
3. Quotes, Deposits, and Payments
Quotes provided are based on the information available at the time and may change if project scope changes.
A 50% deposit is required to confirm holiday lighting services unless otherwise stated in writing.
The remaining balance is due upon completion of installation.
Payments not received on time may result in service cancellation or removal of installed materials.
4. Service-Specific Terms
Lighting Services: All holiday lighting is provided under a lease model. Light The Peak owns the lights unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Maintenance: We will repair or replace leased lights during the service period as part of your agreement.
Removal & Storage: Unless otherwise arranged, removal and storage of lights is included in holiday lighting services.
Property Access: You must provide safe access to your property for installation and removal.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations must be submitted in writing.
Deposits are refundable if cancellation occurs at least 14 days prior to scheduled installation. After this period, deposits may be non-refundable.
If weather or unforeseen circumstances delay services, we will reschedule as soon as possible.
6. Limitation of Liability
While we strive to provide high-quality services, Light The Peak is not liable for:
Damages caused by pre-existing conditions of your property (e.g., fragile gutters, roofing issues).
Interruption of service due to factors beyond our control (e.g., severe weather, power outages).
Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the Services in question.
7. Privacy and Data Protection
Our Privacy Policy also governs your use of the Services.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Services indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
